Hi,
let me just answer b) first.
I don't mean 2nd order transfer function cannot have -90degree/dec per pole. However, it is all dependent on the damping ratio if you look at any control book.
For example, I ask you about a pure LC lowpass filter.
What are the frequency resonse?
The transfer...
From that FFT, you can add all harmonic components (usually ~5th or 7th) to calculate THD.
THD = toal harmonic distortion.
What is THD3? Is this IP3?
THD is defined as "Ratio of the total power of 2nd and higher harmonic components to the power of the fundamental power".
What you have to...
Hi, all.
Thank you all for your reply.
Let me clear my question...
How does RHHP occur with capacitor and active device (e.g. MOS) - without inductor!?
How does a complex pole pair occur with capacitor with active devices - again without inductor?
Of course, I can derive all tedios transfer...
Hi, all.
When does right half plane pole in analog circuit?
When does a complex pole occur in analog circuit?
For example, passive components cannot give complex poles. In order to have complex pole, what mechanism should be associated with?
Any SIMPLE, but intuitive examples or materials...
Is placing ESD structure more susceptible to latch up? Particularly ESD to core and latch-up relationship.
Any reference website and paper is welcome.

Depending on condition, but give current condition, in general BJT is faster because gm is larger.
The simple metric to compare between two is ft = gm/cgs, roughly.
Hi, I am currently having difficulty in having a extremely stable (without fluctuation) diode output excitation source.
The laser I got is biased with voltage and it has lots of fluctuation. Mainly due to temperature??
I heard that if the laser diode is biased with current, then this problem...
HI, all - This is about PCB designing tool.
I am wondering what's difference between Protel and Orcad?
One person told me Protel and orcad for pcd are the same. Is that right?
Also, can anyone explain what's going on in orcad?
There is a tool called allegro (this is PCB tool and was linux...
voltage regulator versus voltage reference
Hi, all.
I have used voltage regulator as my reference. But, I have currently known there was a device called voltage reference. I would like to make a good voltage reference for my ADC and wondering if voltage regulator would do the job pretty well...
DC input changes within allowed input range so that there is not much gain change - especially when it is used with feedback structure.
Also, why does DC input matter with the phase margin???
Can you please explain it for me?? the phase margin can be discussed at unity gain, which is about 4MHz...
Hi, all.
I'm currently testing a opamp with unity gain feedback.
With small DC input (<30mV), it seems that it does not have any problem.
However, as DC input increases, the output of the opamp (unity gain feedback) has oscillation and it is proportional to the input amplitude.
Since it does...
