You Linux veriosn is too new ,suggest CentOS 3 or 4,whether U can install without problem;
However ,U can get a low version tool : tar sort (from coreutils-* .rpm from Redhat 9.0 ) replace those under /bin ;
what more ,you should change the file io_fltr.c process_file.c vld...
