Hi, mns. This is my m-file for 3D radiation pattern in linear scale.
First, I get radiation pattern information in spherical coordinate from HFSS.
Then I need to extract directivities depends on phi, theta.
Anyway, the important thing is that you know values in spherical coordinates then...
I build up a four-port two wire transmission line which is used to explain power line distribution in ICs or PCBs.
I expected less reflection from input port than other ports where power is distributed equally at low frequecy.
However, all S-parameters are same.. I put more ports and ports the...
Metals are colored because the absorption and re-emission of light are dependent on wavelength. Gold and copper have low reflectivity at short wavelengths, and yellow and red are prefeentially reflected.
Here, when all frequencies of visible light focus on a gold, short wavelengths light does...
Consider the simple electron energy band schemes for metal.
All frequencies of visible light are absorbed by metals becuase of the continuously available empty electron states, which permit electron transitions.
Then, most of the absorbed radiation is reemitted in the form of visible light of...
When I measure near field using a near field probe from antenna, PCB, ICs etc. (simply H-probe).
I can see some peaks through Spectrum Analyzer(SA) according to clock frequency (in case of digital ICs).
By the way, if the measured field is reactive field it may not be harmful as a EMI source...
I guess it depends on your height. When you stand up you become a monopole antenna from the earth. Just try to avoid the frequency 'lamda/4=your height'.
