    HP HFSS or ANSOFT HFSS?

    hphfss Simulation in @gilent HFSS is very slow! just as @gilent's momentum. I prefer to design with @nsoft Hfss, it is really easy to use. but i found that hfss 9.0 is slower than 8.0 or 8.5.

    Re: HFSS IMPORT?? yes, you can import files in format of GDSII, IGES, DXF, DWG, SLD, etc.

    Re: HFSS export student version is limited on many functions. you must get a full version product.

    Re: orcad, power_pcb, wg2002 you can try cadence psd. i worked with it for a period, a perfect tool.

    linux uncompress rpm it is not the default installation package. you can install it from your source cd.

    cadence ic5033+pdf I think Cadence IC is better. and with the help of RFDE, it can extend to the design of RFIC.
