i kind of need to know now. i have something due pretty soon and i've been clueless about this problem for 12 hours now. i have no bloody idea how to find these things.
does anybody know how to find these using MATLAB? apparently there are special formulas or something that each waveguide has to be able to calculate the kc's for each q'nm mode. i don't understand this at all.
does anyone know how to find the attenuation for an evanescent mode rectangular waveguide? i've looked everywhere, but have no idea. my guess is:
j*k * sqrt(1-(fc/f)^2).
that would mean that the solution in dB/m would be extremely large, right?
Re: I'm building an amplifier for a powerhorn. Which amp chi
hey... sorry. it's LM-4668 and it's an extremely tiny IC. my group members and i are a little confused on how to use this tiny thing...?
www.national.com/pf/LM/LM4668.html
is the LM4668MH version a larger version(much like that...
Re: I'm building an amplifier for a powerhorn. Which amp chi
do you know the names of any car amplifier ICs?
Added after 15 minutes:
actually... i think my group has an LM-4886, which is 10W, 8-ohm. i think that would suffice, but i can't find a schematic only of how i should build the...
Which chip is the most feasible chip to use in this situation? I want the siren to be loud, loud, loud! Around 50db-60db. Right now I'm using an LM386N-1, but I'm getting some crazy distortion coming from it  Anybody have any other suggestions? This is the circuit I'm using at the...
Re: Solenoid Driver
well... i don't quite have one yet. lol. i just know that i need one to push/pull this block of wood. a signal will be sent from our pic to the solenoid motor and the motor will either push or pull the block of wood (to change polarities of the main circuit). i just...
Solenoid Driver
I'm doing a project here at my university and it requires that I control a design of mine using a Solenoid Driver with a PIC microchip (pulling/pushing a block of wood). Does anybody know of one that they may have used before or one that they would prefer I use? Any help would...
Re: Steps involved in building(analog) a microstrip patch an
analog: instead of building it in software alone i'm actually building a tangible antenna.
isopro software
We actually have a milling machine at school. It's connected to a computer with HFSS on it. I just have no idea where to start to get my antenna produced.
steps involved in antenna design
Hey, guys. I'm an electrical engineering student and I'm designing a microstrip patch antenna for my antenna class. I've already completed the actual design and simulation of the antenna. Now, I have to building the antenna (mill it). Do anybody know the...
