    ISO16750-2 Load dump pulse 1A

I am looking at TVS diodes suitable of passing the ISO16750-2 Load dump test A. For a 12v system 79V<Us<101v. Just to confirm the max voltage of the pulse can be from 79v not 79+Ua= 93 with Ua =14v

    MOSFET MAX CURRENT FOR BSS123

The problem I have the power Dissipation is 0.36W but the vd at 100V and current at 170ma doesn't equate

    MOSFET MAX CURRENT FOR BSS123

The BSS123 MOSFET SAYS MAX id IS 170mA AT 100V. So what is the max current at 5v?

    Ferrite beads for EMC testing

I am testing an output of a hall effect sensor using a wurth ferrite bead 742792662. Testing to ISO11452-2 RF immunity, the immunity if 200Mz but passing at 400mhz upwards

    Ferrite beads for EMC testing

I'm looking at the effect of ferrite bead on a pcb to improve Susepability when EMC testing. Looking at the curves on the data sheets . The peak resistance seems to be around the 2mhz range. Does this mean the ferrite bead will filter out frequencys around this range ie the higher the...

switching a resistor into circuit using mosfet

Hi Zapper, Yes I know they are too low. The reason for the circuit is I'm using a switch with a min wetting current of 10mA. the switch contacts are between R8and R9 . ,so i can make them a value that say delivers 20mA . I was just playing with the values of R8 and R9 . I just...

switching a resistor into circuit using mosfet

Yes I'm using LTspice and it works perfectly on the simulation. I know there is no minimum source drain current , just wanted to confirm I'm not missing anythnig silly really.

switching a resistor into circuit using mosfet

I need to switch some ressitors into a resistance network, but this means I have a resistive load on my source as well as drain of the fet. Can I do this?? see attachment

Minimum switching current for Mechanical switch

Hi Klaus, I can get my current up to 15mA if required but It's the 12VDC that is worrying me.

Minimum switching current for Mechanical switch

I have a switch which specifes the minimum switching current is 10mA at 12VDC. Now my circuit switches 11mA at 5V. Does the power need to match ie IxV 0.01 x 12 = 120mW or would the 11mA at 5v BE SUFFICIENT???
