Doubt regarding PLL.. may be a foolish question....

What does Track mode in PLL refer to actually then? I am basically trying to understand PLL. I am referring basic to block diagram in https://cnx.org/content/m14477/latest/ECE463PLLblockdiagram4.png - - - Updated - - - This is a link giving explanation of PLL...

Doubt regarding PLL.. may be a foolish question....

Yes I agreed , but the basic explanation of any PLL includes frequency divider as an optional element. without freq divider can you explain me this device. https://cnx.org/content/m14477/latest/ECE463PLLblockdiagram4.png

Doubt regarding PLL.. may be a foolish question....

I have seen analogy between voltage follower and PLL somewhere telling that both uses negative feedback. ie voltage follower tries to track input voltage where as PLL tracks input signal's frequency and phase. Ok right. But I know that voltage follower amplifies current signal too. My doubt...

Is my explanation of PLL working right, please check this (using 565 IC)....

Hello Edaboard, Please check if my explanation for PLL is right, if any mistakes please correct it. PLL is a device which makes use of negative feedback so as to match the frequency and phase of a input signal avoiding noise and jitter in it to...

confusion in the concept of potential barrier.

Hi friends, I have a doubt regarding potential barrier in semiconductor devices. I know it is some voltage me must overcome (in case of diode etc) to start conduction in forward bias. But anyway it is a potential difference. So can we measure it using voltmeter across the diode...

I have a calculator which turns itself OFF when it is idle for 6 minutes. But how it ?

I have a calculator which turns itself OFF when it is idle for 6 minutes. But how it automatically gets OFF? I tried to assumed about a timer which makes a switch in power supply to circuit path OFF. Still the timer is ON. So any way there will be some amount of power consumed right? Please help...

I want to experiment with a dipole antenna in lab...No idea about it. Please help me

Hi guys, I am a beginner in this field. I wanted to learn working of antenna. So I have a function generator in lab. And I set it to 100MHz sine wave. I want to feed this signal directly to a dipole antenna and view it through a CRO (meters away) which...

The AM generator circuit using 455 KHz IFT.

Yes the IFT includes the capacitor to resonate with one coil at 455KHz.

The AM generator circuit using 455 KHz IFT.

The IFT we have in the lab is having 5 legs and one screw to tune (455khz). Can you give the circuit please?

The AM generator circuit using 455 KHz IFT.

Can any one give me the correct circuit for AM generator using BF494 transistor and 455 KHz IFT and its explanation with design or any reliable website. I don't know why, its not working for me. I don't know what is the problem . Is it related to old IFTs in the labs. :-( -Devanand T
