Hi Hector,
I faced the same problem, what I did was just a power detection , but then I had to do some kind of synchronizing and timing , where you can find the peaks at the output of the Matched Filter (i.e Early Late Synchronization ) which is the simplest way to do it.
If you found any...
preetica,
The Outage probability means the percintage of time that you have the minimum received power ( or SNR ) for your design , which is decided from your BER. so both BER and Outage probability have some kind of connection to the received power .

AGC output level
Hi
How to selecet the output level for an AGC , is it the mid point in the DRl , the max. received power or the first compression point and why?
thanks
I am sorry I meant by downconvert downsampling which is the opposite of upsampling and you can think of it as a way to represent the pulse shape in MATLAB and thats how you will use the Nyquist pulse shape , and use it again in the RX as Matched Filter,,, or if not neccessary ( in case that...
If I understood you clearly : here is a pusodo code
1) generate data bits --> data_gen
2) bits to symbols
3) upsample & signal shape
4) pass the sequence through the channel ( i.e add noise and/or convolve with channel impulse response
5) .... downconvert
6)demodulate
7)detect --->...
Simulink & HDL
Hi everyone,
I am comm system guy, I have no good background in digital design, so I need your help.
I have a project to design a transceiver , so I did most of the algorithms using MATLAB and need to go toward the HDL . So I need an easy way to do that, that is suitable to me ...
I guess it is because of the mutual coupling between the inductors in the cellphone and the fixed phone. where the current in an inductor can generate flux that intern produce a current in a mutual inductors in the fixed phone.
for more details about this see Electromagnetic text book.
