ASSET TRACKING
For you, what is the best wireless technology for tracking assets across a small, medium and large field/range?
Is the right choice rfid/zigbee (small range), gsm/cdma (medium range), sattelite (large range)?
Please post your opinions, thnx in advance.
Re: RFID tag question?
i have this doubt too, what about the 2.5 ghz rfid tags? there are some kind of transceivers to make more easy the use of rfid with microcontrollers?
I'm researching the design of a bidirectional amplifier for wlan ( 2.4 Ghz ) applications, like that it appears here (http://www.qsl.net/n9zia/wireless/appendixD.html).
My question is the following one: How i can control the sdpt switchs without having to take to amplifier an extra signal of...
cpld uart
With CCS PIC C Compiler you can use an arbitary number of uarts, using the uart by hardware provide by the 877 and adding uarts by software using the compiler features, for example:
#use rs232(baud=9600,xmit=pin_c6,rcv=pin_c7,stream=HOSTPC) //HW UART
#use...
Re: 2.4 Ghz Amplifier
mm yes, i've elektroda.com.ar, a this days i used the domain for host my university projects, the hosting is a small machine in my house [apache+ddns+256kbps adsl], I'm thinking to mount [in a near future] an ircs server [irc over SSL] for the elektroda community.
Re: 2.4 Ghz Amplifier
In some places qsl.net cannot be seen correctly, for that reason i published the link of google cache, anyway you can see the original document in:
http://www.qsl.net/n9zia/wireless/2.4amp.html
and my local files of this (sorry for the mess) in:
