they are not dual sim. They are dual band which has the capability of communicating in two baud rates. It's ok. Appreciate your help.

Well I have done that already. For two days I was doing that. All I found was that dual sim modems which use two modules. And don't think that I use this forum to find quick answers just because I'm lazy to do even a google search.

Thank you very much for the prompt reply. The AT+CPIN command replied "READY" so I thought pin lock is not the problem. Further more I inserted the same sim for a modem of a different brand of my friend. And I was able to send and receive sms successfully. That's why it has become a big issue...
