Can we build a PIN diode model in HFSS by a simple patch and assigning it all the biasing values from the manufacturers data sheet?
If this is possible then is there any other effects on the antenna performance?
To increase the bandwidth you can add slot towards the edges of patch at both sides....It will increase the bandwidth.Just try. I am also doing same reconfigurable antenna.
@ bepi004": yes i know this solution thanks for your suggestion. Also CST simulation software provides option for simulating pin diode. Biasing can be done in CST,i think. But i am not sure. So if u know anything about CST please suggest me. But as u told early that 2 different circuits but...
hello friends i am doing research project in reconfigurable antenna using hfss. so if possible can anyone tell me how to implement pin diode in hfss or any other software?
