    Different kinds of sorting algorithms

Re: sorting algorithm Hi all, Volume 3 is devoted to sorting and searching...I have all three volumes and tried a bit of all. He's pretty elaborate on many issues - both trivial and non-trivial. So self-study is not a problem. You could also try "Design and Analysis of algorithms" by Aho...

    Understanding the complex numbers entity

Re: complex numbers I feel that rather than being just an analytical tool, complex quantities are absolutely indispensable in many areas of physics and hence real world. Eg. the wave function in abstract hilbert spaces of quantum mechanics needs to be complex. Of course this is a slightly...

Looking for books about the Shrodringer equation

The inverse of this laplace domain: laplaceinverse(&#873

Re: laplace inverse? I think one way to cross-check is to compare numerically calculated and analytically obtained transform plots. It so happens that sometimes finding analytical inverses of laplace transforms is a formidable task. Then numerical solution remains the only other alternative...

Looking for documents that explain physical meaning of math

Re: PHYSICAL MEANING Also, you might want to try Math methods in Physics by mary L. Boas. Old book, but explains things applied to physics and more at an intuitive level. C

The inverse of this laplace domain: laplaceinverse(&#873

Re: laplace inverse? I got this from Mathematica...there's nothing that beats it at Symbolic comp! C P.S. I couldn't get it to give proper latex o/p or MathML , so had to post the gifs.

Need detailed information about the operation of FIFO

Re: FIFO This info might help you... http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Pines/6639/ip/fifo.html More importantly, look at the references and ckts part at the end of the page. regds, C

    Transcendental approximations

2^x should be very simple if you are working in binary. Just notice 2^0=0 2^1=10 2^2=100... As far as log_2(x) is concerned, I'll refer you to Feynman's method. Look in the section "An Algorithm For Logarithms" in (and you can pick up on that) **broken link removed** I hope that helps... Chirkut

    Looking for Feynman books

Re: feynman book Senet.ru is sometimes down. Hence I have uploaded it here... Lectures on Computation: I have "What Do You..." book. If you would like to know something specific from that, PM me...
