beacuse the Lange-Coupler is reciprocal,so ports 1,4 or 2,3 are inputs. If prot 2,3 is the input, then port 1 or port 4 can be the output, the difference is that the phase difference to the different prots is 90 degrees. The other remaining port 50 ohm resistance to the ground.
when two amplifiers are combined, the amplifier phase is always the case, the gain of the combined amplifier is unchanged, the output power of the amplifier is changed, the output power of the amplifier is inceased by 3dB,and the noise of the amplifier is superimposed. You now have circuit amplifiers...
I think you HFSS encrypted grid simulation results to see if there is a big difference from your current grid division.if the results are similar,i think the meshing in this state is correct. As for the simulation results of CST,I think the simulation of circular antenna is inaccurate.
Similar to the director diagram in the above picture.above the antenna is a dipole, below the reflector is a reflector.I guess your reflector is not good because of the reflector length, the reflector can reflect the frequcecy is not what you need.
If you have a reflector to chang the antenna radition pattern ,then the performance of the reflector is affected by two aspects, one is the length of the reflector itself, and the other is the distance between the reflector and the antenna.Refering to the Yagi antenna principle, the reflector...
There is no good way,the fastest way is to remover the antenna, single test each phase and insertion loss of the feeding network.and improve the feeding network according to the test results.
From the data in your picture, the gain of the amplifer is 7-8.5dB,and the output p1dB of amplifier minus the gain of the amplifier is the maximum input power of the amplifier.
In most cases, the simulation results of CST and HFSS are the same, but some models, such as four-arm spiral or polyhedral antenna, are far different from the real objects by using CST simulation. If I change the mesh density or solver method, the difference is still relatively large. The simulation...
if you use a 4 x meshes with a ± 10deg phase change, replace the simulation software HFSS, the simulation accuracy of CST is not high, which has nothing to do with your setting and is related to the CST grid division method
If only the capacitance or inductance is used to adjust the phase shift, then the capacitance to ground phase shift decreases and the inductance to ground phase shift increases.
