Same problem here. I found that it depends on how long the stuff has been on the shelf. Longer the worse. Bad method for doing things professionally -> so I send it to PCB shops :)

Re: gang programming
Please? I'm refferring to PIC micros :) Does anyone know how to do mass production stuff? Do you think one programmer is enough? Once computer can only connect to one programmer? (a waste?). Do you guys usually use ICSP or can we get die form chips too? Thanks guys.
Best...
How do you do programming for mass production? Do we connect multiple programmers together then use ICPROG. Or does this not work? Do we need a different circuit and software?
Thanks :)
Hi,
I'm designing a 'sliding gate' for a uni project. I want to ask for some advice.
I think I should use a permanent magnet DC motor. What voltage motor should I use e.g. 24V? Are there any good circuits around?
Thanks in advance!
Re: Erasing EEprom??
Hi,
I suggest you to look more closely in the p18f datasheet. There is already a refresh routine inside. All you need is just to modify it.
Thanks :o
Hi,
I don't think it is possible because the:
1.freq is not right
2.to ampltide modulate the signal. you need to send a large voltage to the line
3.the 50Hz is fixed as one of the 3 lines is neutral
Correct me if anything is wrong. Thanks. :o
Hi,
I've made a 'electrocardiogram' before. It was easy, I just made the thing using opamps (to amplify small signals of the P an Q waves of the heart pulse) then sent it off the the people who checks the safety of theses things (always include optocoupler for safety). They said it was ok...
deciding on best cad system to use
Hi,
Thanks for the info guys. But I think some simulation programs such as Orcad are really hard to use. But what I think is most important is the accuracy and reliability of the simulation. Like. some perhaps don't simulate capicitance leakage or opamp slew...
Hi,
I got a simple question:
Which microcontroller is better -> the PICs or the AVRs in terms of hardware, programming and price. Thanks in advance. :?
