Hello Every one,
I am confused to calculate power of my inverter,Here are the Details
Circuit is of Pure Sine Wave Dc to AC type using SPWM technology.
I am using a H Bridge configuration.
There are three heat sink, Large which is connected with Battery + wire have 16 FETs, other 2 heat sink...
This mean that using wire and sheet does not matter if they are laminated. The problem is the iron material. if i choose another material with low hysteresis loss then even wire construction will be OK. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks a lot for the information.
Can You Explain how geometry effect the losses. I think Smaller the Layer smaller the eddy current lesser the loss. In Shape of wire eddy current is divided in many smaller currents. Then how loss could be higher.
What is the effect of air gap in core which will be higher in wire wound core and...
Power is 1KVA at 50Hz.

Now having a comparison of Varnished iron Wire core and Varnished Iron sheet Core. Which one will be good for toroidal transformer.
Hello!
Dear All, I am Planing to make a toroidal transformer but Silicon iron sheet is costly here in my area, Can i use Soft iron Wire (bare without insulation) to make a toroid shape and start winding on it.
What if i use some varnish on iron wire before making a toroid core to reduce eddy...
Thanks to all but using an ic will not resolve my problem as i am connecting high no of cells in series and parallel.
here is another try please give your feed back about this.
For over voltage i am bypassing the cell as my current is limited via current control PWM circuit so no short circuit...
To be in safer limit i will charge each cell up to 4V and discharge at 3V. It will reduce danger and enhance life. All i need is protection circuit for each string which is reliable. Charger will cutoff at 480V and load will cutoff at 360V but for individual string i need some circuits.
Can you share an IC model no which is most common one? I am planing to connect several cells in series may be up to 120 cells will these IC work there? these ICs monitor individual cells or series of cells?
Re: Li-ion battery Protection Circuit
Thanks for reply but i am looking for a customized solution and basic scheme of required design is in below image
Hello!
I am planing to make a high voltage battery from 3.6V Lithium ion batteries.
The problem is i want to protect individual cell from over voltage protection. Thinking to use Zener diode but its two lossy and will create short circuit effect.
I want some circuit that allows battery only...
actauly i made a circuit using lm741 and 1n4001 that peak detector circuit output moves to adc0804 and that works well. my microcontroller work fine. i just changed capacitor 200nF and its working fine.
just tell me one thing when voltage decreses after going to peak capacitor will hold peak...
here is circuit diagram of a peak detector i need its explanation. i want to know its workng. whats each component is doing here eg capacitor diode resistor, mode of op amp?
and what if i use LM741 op amp and 1n4001 Diode?
kindly reply.
thanks
