So
I replaced the part and now the power supply turns on but outputs a constant 0.6v (it is a 3-15v 40amp variable output power supply) what else could be damaged to cause this symptom?
circled in red is the original area the offline PWM switch was located

i have a couple of questions you ll have to excuse my ignorance
if i put voltage directly on the led legs in circuit the led lights up ..by doing this could i damage the other components before the led in the circuit track ?seeing im not applying the voltage at the beginning of the circuit...
