    Can you help me identify component?

    So I replaced the part and now the power supply turns on but outputs a constant 0.6v (it is a 3-15v 40amp variable output power supply) what else could be damaged to cause this symptom? circled in red is the original area the offline PWM switch was located cheers!

    i have a couple of questions you ll have to excuse my ignorance if i put voltage directly on the led legs in circuit the led lights up ..by doing this could i damage the other components before the led in the circuit track ?seeing im not applying the voltage at the beginning of the circuit...

    hmmm are you any good at looking at circuit boards and figuring out whats what?

    the multi meter is setup fro diode testing so .010v is showing with the beep
