do you understand the gain of antenna? and the power gain?
The gain of antenna is different to amplifer or passive element.
The gain of antenna is relative value of omni antenna.
FYI.
u can use ifilter in AWR to design a hairpin.
ifilter can be opened in wizard branch in project tab in AWR.
you can see the help about ifilter.
First you select filter type(BPF,LPF……), then select filter realization type(Microstrip, stripline……).

That 's very easy to use .
helped in layout design
there is not tools for get layout for schmetic in ic design, because the design of layout need a lot of experience, and is an art.
In high frequency, the design of layout is very improtant to chip design. many effctive must be considerable. so you can consider the later method firstly, than use the fisrt method when you have some experience.
I want to know that how to compute the phase noise in ADS and display it when we design a Voltage Controlled oscillator.
I have a VCO simulation now, i want display the figure of phase noise VS noise frequence or operating freq, but i don't know how to do it!
