thank you. i tried to slowly ramp the speed up and it works. can i know why you used a noise filter on the CW/CCW pin, ENABLE pin and the CLOCK pin? are you using PIC mcu to control the speed?
i'm using the p89c51rd2h which has the in system(ISP)/in application(IAP) programming function. the ISP in the datasheet are about manually reset the uC by bringing the RESET pin low and manually bring the PSEN pin high circuits. i want to do a c code where i can trigger it using software so i...
i need to know how to assign the rst pin and psen pin to rs232 in c code for the handshake protocol. i cannot start the coding because i cannot assign it.
sorry. my mistake. there is not any need for the resistor. my problem is actually the stepper motor is not moving after i send pulse and direction and the l298 heats up so fast.
i need some c source code examples to interface 8051 with l297/l298 to control the acceleration and deceleration of the stepper motor as i cant seem to get anywhere with the formulas i got from the avr446(http://www.atmel.com/Images/doc8017.pdf)
i am following the l297 datasheet https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/22436/STMICROELECTRONICS/L297.html and the design in this link https://reprap.org/mediawiki/images/a/ab/Cache-2910951388_0e05a5c7cc.jpg to design a stepper motor driver. i understood all about the functions of...
