In powermosfet high side layout, I have to take kelvin connection from the Source pad and the drain pad to the current sense block. Since it is a current sense block, is it used to sense current or voltage? How does Kelvin connection work?

Shouldn't it be primarily from majority carrier injection? For e.g., in the case of powerfets in powerconverter chips, high side powerfet injects holes into the p-substrate which are majority carriers in psub. Likewise, low side powerfet injects electrons into the nwell.

Lets say, there are 2 branches of pmos current mirrors with a diode w/l size getting a reference current of 1uA. If one branch has 2x pmos with W/l, then the mirrored current here is 2uA.
If the second branch has 2 pmos of w/l in series, then the current here is 0.5uA. Why is...
