    Kelvin connection

Hi @FvM In powermosfet high side layout, I have to take kelvin connection from the Source pad and the drain pad to the current sense block. Since it is a current sense block, is it used to sense current or voltage? How does Kelvin connection work? Thanks bk

    noise injection during latchup current

Hi @FvM , Shouldn't it be primarily from majority carrier injection? For e.g., in the case of powerfets in powerconverter chips, high side powerfet injects holes into the p-substrate which are majority carriers in psub. Likewise, low side powerfet injects electrons into the nwell.

    noise injection during latchup current

Hi Is the latchup due to majority or minority injection? This doubt came as I was reading about double guardring structures. -bk

    [SOLVED] Series current mirrors

Hi @sutapanaki , Lets say, there are 2 branches of pmos current mirrors with a diode w/l size getting a reference current of 1uA. If one branch has 2x pmos with W/l, then the mirrored current here is 2uA. If the second branch has 2 pmos of w/l in series, then the current here is 0.5uA. Why is...

    [SOLVED] Series current mirrors

Hello How do 2 series current mirrors with unit W/L matching with diode produce Iref/2 current? Regards bk
