Re: FR4 power handling
thanks for your answer
the board thickness is 0.8mm at 2.4 GHz .
i plane to use it for outdoor dipole antenna.
with peak power of 250 Watt CW
thanks in advance
how to calculate impedance along a bowtie antenna with cst ?
not just at the feeding point but along the antenna on every place at the antenna.
thanks in advance
1. increase the width of the antenna by a factor of 1.5*L (L=resonance length).
2.increase the height of the patch from the ground .
3. you can change your printed patch to a printed dipole that usually have a B.W of
25-30%.

hi petrus,i simulate ebg under cst,i have some examples,at 10 ghz, what ur project?
regards
hi abdoeng can you send me some examples at any freq (under cst, file archive or just mod files).
thanks alot .
Hy
your feed is in the center of the patch ? so your imp has to be 0 ohm.
try to move it along the e-plane to get the right impedance.
you can cut the plane into half to reduce the simulation time .
Try to run adaptive mesh to get the right mesh density for farther simulations.
