Wow, thanks much for your help. I had no idea it was a amplifier inside that small device, thought it was just a transistor or some other single device.

I've hunted for hours and been through every cross-reference I can find but still cannot find what a "AH1 M513" surface mount device is, where to get one or what it might cross reference to as a standard transistor part number. The case style is SOT-89 but that's all I can find on it. This part...
