Hi there
and thanks a lot for your quick replies. I like the simplicity of the Beetle, it also looks simpler than the design I had in mind (Single Chip FM Transmitter), which uses a ready-made VCO instead of the resonant circuit. I reckon that the Beetle might be more sensitiive to supply...
Hi,
I would like to build a small FM transmitter to transmit an audio signal with my notebook. I will power it with a 9V battery. The plan is to connect notebook and the transmitter with 3.5 mm TRS plugs. Some TRS sockets include 2 normally closed contacts, that are opened when a TRS connector...
Hey there,
I think we need some more clarification what your system is doing. Why are you sampling at 15 kHz and get new values at 2 kHz?
If you acquire samples of your signal at a rate of 15 kHz, you can capture all frequencies up to 7.5 kHz.
If you acquire samples of your signal at a rate...
Hey there,
I would like to know if it is possible to charge a LiPo-Battery while the normal consumer is powered on.
The thing is, I have this humanoid robot and its battery lasts only for like 20 minutes. It would be nice if it could walk to a charging station and sit down there to get...
Hey Frank!
Thanks for your response. I already feared that it is very difficult. The beauty would be of course, that the graphics adapter does the digital part and that you could generating an arbitrarily long signal on your screen by playing a movie for example. If it were not for the...
Hey, this is my first post! I wanted to buy a signal generator, but they are so expensive that I decided to build one myself. I thought I would be nice to use a graphics adapter's vga output, because it is rather fast and the D/A conversion is done by the graphics card. I only need to amplify...
