Hi Goldsmith, I was searching through EDAboard for solution to SPWM inverter output filter design when I came across your post. Please, your answer will help me as well.
I want to design a 50Hz fundamental frequency sine wave inverter and I am using SPWM mehtod at a switching frequency of 50Khz...
Thanks for your reply, please can you point me towards a good refrence design that i can use as a guide for my analysis. Also, are there any other simpler method for feedback design. As you said in your reply, the dc-dc is an intermediate boost state in my design of an SPWM inverter.
Hello,
Please, I am in the process of designing a 20 to 400V dc-dc converter but I don't know which type of feedback to use. Should I use an opto-coupler Isolated feedback or can I use a direct feedback consisting of voltage divider network at the high voltage side. I am using SG3524 for PWM...
issues with PIC a8f2550 programming
Hello Bigdogguru, thanks for your suggestions, I can now program detect the 18F2550 on my Epic programmer and when I run auto-detect command on melab software, i found the pic but the main problems is sometime when I program the pic and read back it shows...
Thanks, also when I went through my design of epic programmer, I found out that I didn't add a pull down resistor for the PGM pin of the 28pin 18F2550, although I can use the programmer without the PGM pull down to program all other PIC except for the pic in question. So, is it totally necessary...
thanks for your suggestion bigdogguru, the modification according to the link you provided is for 18F2331 and 18F2431 but the PIC i have problem with is 18F2550 and according to the datasheet pin7 is RA5/AN4/SS/HLVDIN/C2OUT, or will the solution work as long as the PIC is within the 18Fxxx series
Hello, I am using melab software and EPIC programmer to program pic, I just bought a new PIC18F2550 and when I try to use melab to detect it, I got error message that it can't detect the pic. pls, can you tell me what could be the problem.
Hello, please I am trying to make the pcb of a 40pin programmer but I can't find a 40Pin DIP socket component in eagle schematic editor. Please can you tell me how I can find it in eagle and also, if you know where I can get the latest com-3m library can you post it. Thanks
Regards
Babinton
Hello,
I have a salvaged ferrite transformer with a tiny gap between its center legs, I want to know if I can use the transformer for a push-pull DC-DC converter of 250Watts power rating. ( the area product of the transformer shows that it can support the power level i want to design for.)...
Hello, I am back again, I thank everybody for the help with my toroid transformer question. Now I am finished with that part of my design, however I have another question: Which is: What type of circuit should I used for the battery charger that I want to include in my inverter;
I want to use...
Thanks everyone, you replies has been helpful, they confirmed what I already suspected. I will try the different method of finding the AL value.
Also, by the way, I have a salvage EE ferrite transformer, but I decided against using it since I can't find a way of safely separating the two halves...
Please, how can I find the Al value, I was thinking of trying to correlate with mag-inc catalog by checking the size close to the size of what I have, check the coating code etc and use the electrical characteristic of the one that match my core the most. Please, alternative can u suggest a...
