Hi Everyone,
I am currently trying to qualify my Bluetooth Hardware/Software design using Bluetooth SIG's PTS testing dongle and PTS software, I was able to get through most of the Bluetooth profiles, I am currently stuck with the HOGP profile.
My Design:
Hardware:
Manufacturer: Laird...
I am trying to export the .hyp file from Pads Layout (Ver VX.2.2), I am doing this for the first time and I am facing some issues,
Firstly, when I try to export the .hyp file, the first window that appears is this
Can anyone describe these selections in detail especially what are the...
Yes, I will be performing Signal integrity and Power integrity checks using Hyperlynx, I think I have got the placement right according to the layout/application notes of all the components that I have used in my design.
I might also do a Pre-Layout analysis in Hyperlynx.
Thanks for the comment,
I understand that this board would be a challenge, but I've designed much complex systems than this one, previously, but was limited to just schematic, I understand all the PCB jargon but I've never done a complete layout, so was...
Hi,
I am designing my first multi-layer design, I wanted to know what all design constraints I need to input to the design, what are the most important parameters, I have USB, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and LVDS display interfaces, Display port and two processors. The system has some control...
Hi,
I have written an Hspice Netlist, the simulation for this netlist doesn't give any error but it doesn't generate '.tr0' file, I have attached the Netlist, kindly go through the file and guide me through my mistakes.
I have posted the Netlist file here...
Your application is interesting and from what i've understood, u need an ADC, Microcontroller and a DAC(preferably on a single chip, Microcontroller) (U can use DAC to generate the analog voltage that u want, i am assuming 0 to 5V range, i might be wrong at this)but looking at the precision that...
Yes u are right, Theoretically. But u can't just give strict 0.208A and expect the system to work, u have to add some margin which is consumed by the parasitic effects usually called as the drop out of the regulator that u'll choose for the job.
Give description of the topology that u'll be...
I am sorry that was a typo, yes i meant compliant (compliance), one more thing, check your vias whether all of them are properly connected to the two planes that they are supposed to be connected or not. And check whether your planes are being supplied with input power properly or not, check the...
Check your constraints whether you are pushing your routing beyond constraints, make sure your layout is complaint with all the constraints, this generally happens when you are not complaint with layout rules and constraints.
It depends on the level of sophistication that you need in your design.
For Instance,
If you are very clear in each step that your microcontroller is supposed to do (step by step) then you can look at its instruction set and you can convert your flow chart into an assembly...
