How to reset PIC16F88 using MCLR pin?

Re: How to reset PIC16F88 How to set the MCLRE bit. As it is beyond the user space. It can be only set during programming. How do i set it during programming. Thanks, Awan

External Watchdog Timer and Supervisiory IC

Hi; I am trying to find an external watchdog timer with a timeout of upto several hours. I dont want to count several shorter timeouts to implement a timeout upto an hour and want a single interrupt. Is there any supervisory IC that gives such a long duration of timeout? Thanks

SPI Communication using PIC as a master

pic spi Hi; I am trying to send data from PIC16F88 to a slave Jennic Microcontroller. PIC16F88 can only send 8bits of data on SPI in one go. But for jennic to receive data, it should first get 0x02(status) and 0x00(zero padding for Jennic to reply) and then it expects the length of data being...

    Variable Gain OP-Amps

variable gain op amp, application note Could you please recommend a commercial digital pot that can be used for feedback resistance of the amplifier. I can only find digital pots with I2C and SPI interface. I am not sure if they can be used for my application.

    Variable Gain OP-Amps

variable gain op amp Hi; I want to implement a gain that can be varied from 10 upto 50 for frequencies upto 250Hz. I have been searching some OPAMPs and think there is a method to vary gain by changing resistance between two nodes of the OPAMP. I will need to use an electronic potentiometer...

    Need battery charger references.

To add to it; does anyone have experience in designing a supply from a rechargeable battery and a solar panel. The supply should maintain a constant voltage and also charge the battery, Thanks

which opamp is good for 250Hz Low pass sallen key filter

Rather than adding a DC bias to the low pass node. For the inverting node in S-K the resistors and capacitors are connected to Ground. Can I change this Ground to Vcc/2 and do nothing to the input of Low Pass Node (i.e. the Non-Inverting Node). But I think this will cause the Non-inverting...

which opamp is good for 250Hz Low pass sallen key filter

Hi LvM; You have summarised it correctly. The sensor cant provide a DC bias at 0.5Vdd and so i need to add a buffer with a decoupling Capacitor at the input. But since my signal is at such a low frequency, i dont understand as to how to achieve it. Is there some method to go around this problem?
