hi guys,
i was thinking to design a circuit using an LDO as a baterry charger for Ni-Cad battery.
base from the requirements of a battery charger, a constant current should be supplied to the battery during charging and once the battery reach its full charge status the current sourced to it...
no attachment still? any way, what are the conditions in order to say that the circuit enters constant current mode? and what is constant current mode means? thanks.
hi Guys,
i am currently doing an evaluation of LDO and im trying to get the line regulation graph. since im varying my supply voltage, say 6V to 20V, over a load current, i would expect my output voltage to rise. however, this is true only for current load less than 150mA. when i increase my...
Hi kateDaring52,
THanks for the reply.. that would explain it... right now i am using resistors to be my load.. but i came to notice one equipment which i think is somewhat better than a current source as a load. well, i am also trying to compare my result using a resistor bank with an...
Hi all,
i have a problem during bench test. i am using current source as a load to my LDO. if i set my current source to about -50mA and turn on my supply for the circuit my meter will read an almost -0.7V which i thinks is the voltage of my forwarded ESD diode. however, if my SUpply is...
thanks for these references. but i want to know how to do it during bench test? i was thinking of doing it by like that of simulation however i dont know what instrument to use to measure the ripple at the output. so im thinking i just have to use a multimeter set at Vac fucntion and measure the...
Hi guys,
Can any one help me how to measure PSRR of an LDO and what measuring instrument to use in order to measure PSRR?
would it be okay if i embedd a sinusoidal signal on top of my Supply Voltage and measure the RMS value at the VCC line and at the OUTPUT line?
