ALTERNATIVE FOR IMREAD
hi,
we r tryin to read an image into matlab..... are thr any alternative ways other than imread ().......... we need to convert the image to a data matrix...... its for manipulation in hardware level.......

hai, our group is trying to implement an image processing algorithm in an fpga. we have successfully coded using matlab. pls give us some suggestions on converting the image processing m-file to .vhd.... we tried accelDSP but it cant be used to work with images...

hw can u effectively convert an image processing m-file to a verilog/vhdl file???
tried accelDSP but codes relating to images can't be done.... the m file is done...
but need to do it in an fpga kit....presently using spartan 3e....
