Hello ,in the attenuator i have defined the insertion loss of 0.4dBm , however in the plot i can see a reduction of 6dBm
as you can see in the attached plot and settings of attenuator.where did i go wrong?
Thanks
Hello, is it possible to design microstrip1o way power splitter?
i know that a T splitter splits into two , but `10 way requieres two components of 5 way splitters.
Thanks
Hello i need to recreate these chebychev coefficents given the initial value of X_0=1.853 as shown in the photo bellow.
i have tried to follow the iterrative algorithm shown in the photo bellow.
please help me understand where did i go wrong?
Thanks
Hello, i have build a complex shape with a coax canle port. so i put a wavguide port to it, but i get an error that is not aligned with global cartesian coordinate system.
I cant see the global coordinate system when i am modeling, its presented on the right corner and i have no clue if its...
Re: what kind of trial an error was done here
ok they pick combinations of C1 and C2 , for what purpose?
in the solution they say
that at minimum point:
theta=pi/2
C_min=-21dB=0.089125
C=C_1*sin(3/2*pi)+(C_2-C_1)sin(pi/2)=-C_1+C_2-C_1=C_2-2*C_1
eq1.
0.089125=C_2-2*C_1
C_max=-19dB=0.1122...
Re: what kind of trial an error was done here
we want a 20dB couping with 1dB ripple, so Cmax is -19 and Cmin is -21
what kind of itterations?, why they pick each time a different C_max?
C max is -19 dB which is 0.112202
C max and Cmin are given to us from the question
Thanks
Hello , for the purpose of impedance compensation of step discontinues ,for the expression shown bellow i need the fringing capacitance.
but i only managed to find the odd mode and even mode fringing field capacitance plots of broadside coupler(which is the closest to offset coupler)
how can...
Hello, I am trying to recreate a shape shown in the attached photo, from the attached article
I have tried to create this shape in MATLAB as shown in the code bellow ,
from this formula i get a 2D shape and not the shown 3D shape , how to create this 3D shape?
Thanks
theta_0=15;
alpha=60...
Hello , in a coupler design the discontinuities causes bad s11 at high frequencies,
i tried many ways of smoothing but its not sufficient.
what could be done?
i have read lots of articles and they dont go into specifics regarding how mathematckly they derived these numbers.
i know that its odd mode chebyshev polinomials.
but how exactly it could be done mathemticky its hard to say.
if you could share some example.
Thanks
Hello, i would like to create an 11 section coupler with 0.1 ripple,
i cant find an example of how exactly they got these numbers in the attached photo.
Thanks
Hello , i need to run many simulations where i cant define them with a parametric sweep, and i need to run them sequentially ,
is there a way i can run many simuations one after the other with a script?
