There are many pulished UWB antenna using CST. Depending on your aplication there are two class:
Directional UWB antenna - log periodic, horn, vivaldi etc..
onmiderictional - biconical, bow- tie, printed dipole and monopole etc.
I have few paper and these on small printed UWB...
I have been trying to solve this question for the past 2 day without no success.. I wonder if you guys can help me out...

Re: CST MWS warning message
Try reducing the "accuracy" on the solver menu to lets say -30db - if this still not solving the probem then reduce on "global mesh properties " the "lines per wavelength" to a lower values say 4.
Siumalate the antenna. and go (click) on
" Results" + "S-Parameter Calculations" + "Calculate Z and Y matrixes"
And you can go to the 1D results the impedance caracteristic will be on "Z matrix" folder .

There is an example of "Helix antenna" on CST MSW help. Try to have a look at it.
you can click on "History list" and go through the design step by step.

I have designed a simple bow-tie antenna on CST... Altough i have the result of the S11...
I am interested on antenna Gain vs Frequency and phase response vs frequency.
What can i do to get the result of these parameter on CST ?

There is one thing I still confuse about...
Although by changing all boundary to open (add space) as removed all the warning message for both Circular / rectangular.
- Why has the S11 result still far from what has been reported on those paper?
