My supervisor told me I can find some SI (Signal Integrity) courses or training and the company will pay for those courses. They are more looking for some courses to run simulation for DDR, High speed signals like Fiber optics etc. (HyperLinks SIwave ....)
Does any one know any good courses...
Any one has Altium designer library for Zynq (especially XC7Z010-1CLG400C)?
What is offered in Altium library loader or most of what I found online for schematics is one part (i.e. one part with all 400-pins connected to it) and it is very inconvenient to work with. I am looking for multiple...
My board has 3 pairs of differential signals and 1 pairs of clocks going to another board through a cable.
- The cable should be at least 20cm.
- The data rate is 1G from a xilinx FPGA (LVDS_25)
I am looking for an affordable connector for this board-to-cable connection. Any suggestion?
Thanks everyone for sharing their knowledge with me.
Would you share some website or source of information regarding microphone, their circuit design, parameters, etc?
I am more digital guy and I need to read more about this topic for this project.
I understands my question was too fuzzy. Unfortunately, I don't have enough knowledge of sounds and microphones.
let me ask my question in this way:
I am looking for a microphone or circuit to record normal human conversation in outdoor from 30 to 50 meter. Do you suggest any microphone?
I have...
I am more digital person so please bear with me for these basic questions.
I am designing a board with a microphone array. The goal is to use high quality microphones and connect them to tlv320adc6140 to convert microphone output to digital and the rest of the board will be done in digital...
I am designing a Spartan-6 board with a HDMI output.
I have noticed in all Xilinx eval boards use a retimer or HDMI interface to connect FPGA to HDMI connector. When I go through spartan datasheet I see spartan itself has TMDS_33 output pin.
my questions are:
1- Can I connect spartan-6...
1- Can I use termination resistors for short traces?
2- The ZYBO Z7 board implemented 2 DDR3 memories without termination resistors. Is there any way I can figure out if my board needed termination resistor or not?
3- Can I use termination resistors for my board but not populate them on the board?
I am designing a FPGA board using SPARTAN-6 with a DDR3 connected to it.
What I found is some FPGA boards with DDR3 has 49.9Ohm termination resistors on address busses (page 9 of SP605). However some other boards doesn't have these termination resistors (such as ZYBO Z7 board page 12).
Which one...
No, You don't need differential traces/signals.
Just keep in mind:
- keep the traces length same RXD0...RXD3 and RXCLK
- Keep the TX traces same TXD0...TXD3 and TXCLK
- Calculate the signal impedances and check them with the datasheet.
I have seen some FPGAs in Aliexpress for very cheap (Zynq, Spartan, Kintex) compare to digikey. Are they really work or they are just scam?
anyone had ordered FPGAs from Aliexpress?
