Dear all
After going through the datasheet of atmega 329 i came across a sentence which states that "As inputs, Port E pins that are externally pulled low will source current if the pull-up resistors are activated". What is the meaning of that sentence. If it is acting as input it should sink...
Dear all..
I've my sensor output ranges from ( 15mV to 45 mV). I've to interface the sensor's output to the adc of a microcontroller. Can i connect directly the sensor's output to the microcontroller? Or should i use any signal conditioning circuit.?
2. My second question is i've another sensor...
Dear all
Would like to know the preheat time of NAP-55A gas sensor from nemotos corporation. could anybody please help me to find the answer for this.?
Thank you so much sir.
Could you please suggest among 8051, PIC,ARDUINO, ARM which one will be better.. This project aims at very reliable and cost effective system. So which one would be better among them?
Dear all
As part of my project work i've to fix a microcontroller. My specifications includes 1. I need to read sensor's output using ADC. 2. Process and to produce audio visual alarms. 3. I need the features to send sms and any other control features. 4. should complete the task within a...
Hi all..
I would like to know what exactly the preheat time means.. In MQ-2 sensors it is said that the preheat time required is 24 hours.. Does this means it is to be heated for 24 hours before the sensor is used for the first time? Or everytime before it detects the leakage it has to be heated...
Dear all
As part of my project work, I need to simulate the gas detector. Can i simulate the gas sensor(MQ-2) and its output using Proteus software. Microcontroller is also included in my project. If I can't simulate using Proteus, what alternative is there for the same.?
Dear Sir
Could you please explain why we need calibration of individual sensors? And I read in one of the papers like if a sensor is calibrated for 100% LEL of methane, then we need to calibrate sensor before it is used for lpg gas detection? I'm not getting the real meaning of this calibration.
Hi all..
I'm new to this group. As part of my project, I would like to know whether MQ-2 sensor can give mV output for lpg?
And I would also like to know how to read the ppm directly from sensor. I mean whether it is having any linear relationship between sensor output and concentration level...
