Program to write in a terminal every period of time

I am using windows 10 and downloaded python 3.6.2 shell When I type import serial from the python, I get this error >>> import serial Traceback (most recent call last): File "<pyshell#12>", line 1, in <module> import serial ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'serial' and when I type...

Program to write in a terminal every period of time

Hi, I need to program the computer for him to write some words every 10 seconds in tera term terminal. For exemple, I need him to write for exemple Abc+enter key, def+enter key, ghi+enter key, klmn+enter key. etc....(in loop) IN the terminal, I would like it to be written this way Is it...

    Fixing frequency sweep in hfss

Choosing the right frequency sweep in hfss I am designing a dual-band microstrip patch antenna. I would like to know if there are some rules on picking frequency sweep in that case, because when I change the range. For exemple if I first simulate from 800 MHz to 5000 MHz it gives me some return...

    simplified SMA connector dimensions

Hi I would like to modelise an SMA connector the simplest way I can. In this website () in the reply of Ahmad Deel, he said that we can use these values for a simplified SMA connector: Place a teflon cylindrical shell (er = 2.1 and tan_delta = 0.001) with radius 2 mm (0.65 to 2.65 mm). Place a...

question on electrical length in basic patch antenna

What do you mean by if " it is not part of the matching network" ? It's an antenna like this one "https://www.researchgate.net/figure/276353525_fig6_Figure-26-Microstrip-patch-antenna-with-inset-fed". In this case do we consider it as a part of the matching network?

    Question regarding the antenna gain

What can I do in my hfss design to get similar gain result as they wrote? The name of the article is "Novel Compact Circularly Polarized Patch Antenna for UHF RFID Handheld Reader". The realized gain after design and simulation is not equal to the gain that they mention in the article "3.5 to 4...

need help for my hfss project

For exemple, If I use the SMA connector like the one in this picture. Do you mean that the "TOP golden rectangular" side of this sma should touch the antenna ground plane and that all the "white material" part which we can see in the picture should be inside the substrate?

    SMA Connector in hfss

    - - - Updated - - - Here is the SMA which I am talking about. Why did they represent it like that? In which case can I modelise it like this? Can I always do something like this? - - - Updated - - - I don't have hfss v17 ? I am using v13. Is it possible for you to send me the SMA that...

    question on antenna adaptation

Hi, After designing an antenna in HFSS. How can I be shure if my design is well adapted? For exemple, if I designed a patch antenna with microstrip line of 50 ohms, should I go simulate to see if the antenna impedance is equal to 50 ohms for all the wanted frequencies ? What else should I...

question on electrical length in basic patch antenna

Hi, I am designing a basic patch antenna. Therefore, in the patch antenna we must use a microstrip transmission line. When I calculate the dimensions of that microstrip transmission line, should I use the electrical length of 180 degree for the best results or less that 180 degree? Because when...

hCoosing the thickness of copper coating when not mentioned inside an IEEE article

choosing thickness of copper coating when not mentionned inside ieee article Hi I would like to know which thickness I should apply when they don't mention it inside an article. I want to design an antenna of some ieee article . They said that the substrate top side is a copper coating also...

    Designing aperature in hfss

Hi, I would like to know how to assign an aperature in hfss. In the hfss help menu, they say 2. Select the object and right-click on Boundaries>Assign>Aperature to display the Aperature dialog. but, I don see the aperature option in my hfss version (version 13). So I would like to know if...

creating a linearly and circularly polarized antenne?

creating a linearly and circularly polarized antenna? Hi, I would like to know if you have some exemples of small antennas which are both linearly and circularly polarized antennas? and if you can explain to me how we can create both polarizations on an small antenna? Thank you

    Substrate relative permittivity

Do you know what would be approx. the cost of 500 g of substrate with er=16? Does er level influence the subsrate price? Can we make any er between 10 and 100 with ceramic or softboard?

    SMA Connector in hfss

I saw an exemple in an ieee article where they used an sma connector but in their hfss design, the authors modelised it as an vertical rectangle(excitation along z axis) which intersects( touches) an antenna coax cable(oriented along z axis) at 2 spots. Do you know why they modelised it like that?
