Is The goemetry in the attachment right ??
it must be a 50ohm coaxial port feed the circular disc monopole through the ground plane.
it didn't give me results as the paper and I don't know how to draw the coax port
plz help
I want to simulate a coaxial port which feed the patch from a hole in the ground plane
I hope if any one can describe how to do that or upload any goemetry file for this problem
thank you
How to simulate infinite Substrate and Ground in XFDTD ?
I know that at Fiedility Zeland to simulate infinite substrate I should let the substrate to touch the boundry, i.e lower and upper padding=0.
Is this idea work at XFDTD ?
coaxial feed xfdtd
I Don't know how to creat the coaxial cable , There is a coaxial cabel at the manual but I didn't understand it ? and why there is two ports in the cable ? and what are the polarity of them ? and which edge will be connected to the antenna ?
I Hope that if any could upload a...

The transmition line width and length is important but you have to make the same dimensions as paper to get the same results. and the TL width determine its impedance.
But at zeland the...
I want to calculate the radiation pattern at a specific frequency
for example 9GHz.
But far-zone data give me a list of frequencies for example (8.88 , 9.02 , 9.11 , 9.23 .....) but I want the radiation pattern at 9GHz exactly .
How to choose the frequency I want
xfdtd
I need help in XFDTD to define port for this example
I attached the geometry file and the paper
I don't know how and where the port must be to get accurate results
Thank you
