Need help to genarate a PWM signal with a variable frequency

Nah I will not be using MikroC for this project. I'm using avr-gcc compiler and just a text editor to write the code. - - - Updated - - - Thanks. I was able to figure this. Is there any tutorials available online on this? I couldn't find any. - - - Updated - - - Yes I'm a using motor...

Need help to genarate a PWM signal with a variable frequency

This is to control a stepper motor. I haven't decided the frequencies yet.

Need help to genarate a PWM signal with a variable frequency

Hi! I need to generate a PWM signal with 50% duty cycle and a variable frequency using atmega32U4. I'm bit confused on how to achieve this. Is anyone able to direct me in the right direction? Which mode I should use? is there any tutorials that covers this particular scenario?

An issue with a light detection circuit

Thank you for the replies. I tried removing the LDR and the transistor but still the alarm circuit turn on slightly with a lower volume. I'm finding it difficult to identify the fault in the circuit. I have posted the schematic and the PCB board, if there is any fault that I couldn't see for my...

An issue with a light detection circuit

Thank you. I think there is a short somewhere. I tried replacing the LDR and still no good. Even when the LDR is removed still the alarm turns on with a low volume :(

An issue with a light detection circuit

I measured the resistance, when there is light its about 0.3k and when there its dark about 0.3M.

An issue with a light detection circuit

I have a LED with an alarm circuit. The LDR and LED is far away. Even when the LDR is fully closed it still detects light.

An issue with a light detection circuit

Thanks. Yes I have a DMM. What is the resistance or voltage value I should expect? - - - Updated - - - Thank you. I'll try replacing one. - - - Updated - - - I can't add another resistor now. I might have to replace with a 1.5k resistor. Generally how do we calculate these resistor values?

An issue with a light detection circuit

Hi! I made an alarm circuit that is control by a light sensor. This light sensor is made out of a LDR, Transistor(2N3904) and a couple of resistors as shown below. When I constructed the circuit on a breadboard it worked fine. But when I build it on the PCB it doesn't clearly recognize darkness...

How to control power pins of a schmitt trigger in LTSpice?

Hi! Anyone know a method to access and control the Vcc and GND pins of a schmitt trigger inverter in LTSpice? I'm using a light sensor circuit to control an alarm circuit. But I can't connect the the light sensor circuit to the schmitt trigger in LTSpice

Need some ideas for an alarm design

Anyway as long as it uses a Schmitt trigger. Volume control would be a good idea. But I have to use a Piezo buzzer so I think there is a limitation to that. Three tones won't be necessary but I can use a swept frequency chirp. Yes when it comes to optimize it includes cost and size.

Need some ideas for an alarm design

I'm building a two tone alarm using a schmitt trigger. Need some ideas to make it more advance. What are the functionalities that I can add while using minimum amount of components?

How to distinguish faces after from minimum and maximum eigen distance for facial rec

How to distinguish faces from minimum and maximumeuclide distance in face recognition Hi all! I'm coding for a real time face recognition application in Matlab. I have written the algorithm for face recognition and it calculates the maximum and minimum euclide distance values. Upto that point...
