tioned somewhere in an application note of International rectifier that involved using the main supply
Orson cart you are right, i ended up using half-bridge driver, in synchronous configuration.
dont have a CRO,
with pot it works fine,
i am using a driver module, which was made in china, so there are no schematics etc,
i just wanted to replace the pot with dac,
dac independently works dine.
what is a CRO?
potentio varied a reference voltage, 0 meant full speed, 5 v meant stop, and from what i can understand it is connected directly to the microcontroller, along with some pullups, and pull downs (or is might be the internal pullups and pull downs of MC, i cant be sure), and...
I have this drive, that drives a BLDC motor, and it has a 10 k potentiometer which can be used to vary speed,
and i replaced that with DAC(the one on the left in schematic) and it worked fine for a couple of days, but one day opamp U1a heated up, and i replaced it and now the drive shows...
i dont htink i will be able to get these here :(
can you please tell me how did you connect the diode, you have already used one in parrallel with the gate resistor in your original schematic, and at what frequency were you switching those mosfets.
Thanks For replying
i do not understand, what DC path? and how small should be the coupling capacitors?
i based my design on this appnote

I am trying to run IR2110 with a charge pump, here is the schematic.
after making the circuit, the voltages on VB are 12.53, on VS are 12.13, when there is no signal on hin and lin, when i give a high signal on opto coupler connected to hin the voltage on hin is 4.63, but ho does not change...
i am trying to make a buck converter by using ir2110's high side driver to drive a Irf 540n, in a buck configuration.
the problems that i am facing are
a) output voltage is erratic, without the lc configuration it works kinda fine, with output voltage swinging between Vs(10 volts) and duty*vin...
i think you are right, when i analyzed the wave forms through an oscilloscope, the output of collector takes a long time to reach 24, and that causes the delayed switching.
and for exceeding Vgs, what should i do? i have to operate with the given parameters.
i am trying to use a 2n2222 to amplify the signal from the mc to switch irf 9540 pmos, however if i increase the switching frequency from more than 1 khz, it takes more time for 2n2222 reach its peak, and consequently pmos switching is delayed.
if i remove irf 9540 from the collector of...
I am trying to make a dc-dc converter with its output in the form of standard atx i.e 12, 5, 3.3, -12, -5
so far i am thinking of using a buck regulator with along with a micro controller for PWM channels and its adc for feed back correction. input for now is fixed at 24 volts.
things I cant...
