Hi,
I would like to use the Serial port of a HC(S)08 MCU to drive a USB device like a USB key. Just as a PC can drive a USB device. So I don't need to connect my MCU to a PC Usb port.
I know in a USB architecture one unit plays the role of the Host and all the others are "devices". Usually the...
hcs08 code
Try at the www_Freescale_com site, you can download the Special Version of CodeWarrior for 8-bit mcu. It comes with lots of examples. The only thing is that it's a pain to download all the package (300 MBytes or such).

Hi there,
I was about to start a new project with a PowerPC 5553. I'm looking for a RTOS because it is a real-time multi-tasking system. Some commercial rtos I've seen are really too expensive!!! I can't afford to pay some 10,000 $ per year just for the licence!
Any suggestions? Any cheaper...
What devices?
I would like to study some simple SISO real cases to see how the system is modeled and expecially what devices should be used to accomplish the desired behaviour of the feedback system.
I mean, once you have designed a PID controller for instance, so that poles and zeroes are well...
Hi! I know that aircraft navigation is based on DME equipments which provide a measure of distance and VOR equipments which provide a measure of angle. DME measure is done by measuring the time distance between pulses generated by aircraft and echoed by DME.
I've heard that the measure of the...
reserved frequencies
Hi, I'm looking for the list of reserved frequencies used in Mediterranean area ranging from few kHz till GHz.
I thought this should be easy to find on the net search-engines, but I got lists related to small areas.
I think these lists should be of public domain...
Anyone...
In my opinion a good grasp of theory in RF is a must. But it is extremely important to practice as well, for example designing and realizing ugly circuits for simple receivers, and so on. Where can one get a cookbook on the web? Or simple projects - i.e. "ugly construction" - which requires a...
Re: Rs-422 and 485
Thanks alot guys, your suggestions are very useful.
One thing I still need.
I can't find what is the standard pinout for a 25 pins connector working with Rs422.
Cheers.
I'm looking for small projects of radio receivers because I'm fascinated by RF world and I would like to approach it in a practical way.
I would like for instance to receive naval ships communications because I live near the sea. I mean commercial, private ships or whatever. If that's legal of...
