I picked up a Fluke 96 ScopeMeter SeriesII today that does not power up.
I opened the battery compartment to finf the battery had some leakage,but nothing too serious.
I put some Duracell batteries in it's place, still finding it still does not power up.
Is there a chance the carbon contacts...

It's been some time since I used this forum and I was hoping someone may be of help.
As you may of noticed my post has regards to a Philips PM3217 dual trace scope of which i am in need of a Service Manual for.

Thanks for the link. I actually spotted it yesterday & stupidly read the first paragraph and thought the whole topic would relate to the PPS-100.
