Reduced power IPs are going to be the hottest.
A lot of companies are investing heavily in Low power IPs and tools that can simulate and synthesize them.
Re: Metastability
If the first FF goes metastable, then the the 2nd FF will sample it in the next clock cycle. So the first FF has time duration of 1 clock cycle, to settle its metastability.
The duration of metastability depends on which time of signal transition it is sampled. By using 2...
Re: Metastability
U need not to worry about the first flip flop. It will become metastable intermittently. You should be concerned that the output of 2nd FF should not be metastable
Re: VLSI job in Noida
Hi Javed,
Mention in your CV which language and which simulator you have used in the various projects you have mentioned.
Also, two things you must remember:
1) You should be willing to re-locate to Noida, which is in North India
2) You would be working in...

Re: vlsi jobs in pune
There is Wipro - in Verification and design
Connexant - mostly verification
LSI logic : in Verification and design
There may be many more. Do also let me know if any more are there

Re: wavelet
There are 2 ways ti implement 1-D Wavelet transform
1) Find the coefficients of LP and HP filter. Then have them implemented as FIR filter
2) Find the equivalent lifting parameters of the filter. Implement them as lifting architecture
In case U R using 2-D Wavelet Transform...
digital signal processing question for interview
I have a very important question.
What is the importance of time frequency resolution? Can this be explained with respect to some application eg when we need to determine the stationary and dynamic characteristic of a signal, how do transform...
