Let's add some comments regarding the free mirror link, because I see many users posting about problems regarding free mirror link, without searching the forum for similar topics. The free mirror link points to a separate server, other than EDABoard server. Periodically, the newest files from EDABoard are mirrored, and only after this the free link can be used. There can be many reasons for which this link does not work. It can be from temporary mirror server problems, to bad settings in your firewall. The mirror server is an FTP server, so you'll have to allow port 21. The free mirror link cannot be used by new registered users. "User can use Free Mirror after >5 posts and after >14 days since register", read the rules of this board for more details: h**p://www.edaboard.com/points.php . If everything seem to be allright and it is still not working, wait for a while and try again after some time.
In conclusion, before starting over and over again topics like "why I can't use free mirror link??", press that wonderfull "search" button and see what others have to say about this issue.
