Dear Friends!
i have a problem in my Powersky 8210CISKV with the boot and i need to flash it with Jtag. i modified the Ird and flash definitions as following:
IRD, 23, "PS-8210", 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 0x7FFFFFC0, 0x7FFFFFC4, 0x7FFFFFA0, 0x7FFFFFA8, 0x7FFEFFF4, 0x7FFEFFF8, "11L", 1, 1
IRDFlash, 23, "Flash 1(28F160)", 0x88C2, 0x50000000, 0x200000, 2, 2, 0
Flash, 23, "28F160", 0x88C2, 0x200000, 1, 1, 0, 2, 32, 1
Sector, 23, 32, 0, 0x10000
FlashMfg, 0x89, "Intel"
it works, and i can reach to the flash programming menu, all buttons for Erase, Read and Programm are enabled but Once i click erase, it takes too much time and returns without erasing the flash (also without any error. and when i click program and select files, it says flash is not blank continue any way?
and it interuppts writing the flash with a message "error writing on sector 7FE00000"
It detects :
Device ID = 0X1D405041
Device = STi5518MVB-X
Please help me what i shall do?
shall i redefine the processor as STi5518BVC instead of STi5518MVB-X and what other parameters are required?
Shall i redefine the IRD and Flash Definations. if some one can please can make the Jkey.def file and send me on my email address at Nisar(at)hotmail.com, i shall be highly apprciated.
I have an unbuffered Jtag described at http://users.pandora.be/Powersky/, the same Jtag i used before to flash a (World In BOX) star track FTA receiver and it worked great.
