Hi, great idea Gulson, although I don't know any LaTeX, but I do know how to use the symbols on the left and maybe I can use the editor for LaTeX.
How to I view how the output will look like?
Do I need a DVI viewer or waht? And if so, which one would be best one for Win XP?

on left we have now engineer/math symbols instead smilies |
Is it possible to change the symbols on the left, so it doesn't insert a space charater before and after the symbol when I click it.
For example if I want to use "²" to write I²C, it writes I ² C instead of I²C.
I have to delete the two space charaters manually, that is inserted in front of and after the symbol.
I don't think there's any good reason to insert the spaces, so if it's possible, I would like the two spaces removed from the insertion.
But I don't know if it is easy to change?
Btw, here's some keyboard shortcut tips:
How to write "µ":
Instead of clicking at the symbol on the left, you can just hit "Alt Gr+m" on your keyboard. (Rember this by thinking of "m for mju").'
How to write "€":
If you want to use the new EURO currency sign "€", just hit "Alt Gr+e". (Rember this by thinking of "e for EURO").
You can also use "Alt GR+5" instead of "Alt Gr+e".
The "€" sign is shown on the "e" key on most newer keyboards, but it also works on older keyboards without the symbol shown.
I can't garuantee this works for all keyboard layouts, but try for yourself.
