I have to develop asynchronous state machines (no common clock. I can use only RS flip flop). I prepare the state diagrams and then I have to define the state and output equations.
I'm missing something passing from state diagrams ( I use asm chart) to equation/schematic circuit.
Is there a tutorial explaining how to design an asynchronous state machine starting from state diagrams until equations?
Thank you for your help.

You may find several answers for what you need...
1) a simple way which simple guides you to the result... That's nothing more than making the state diagram and then using Carnaut tables take the function...
2) an analytical view point (found in M.Mano - Digital Design - Prentice Hall)
3) an insight view point found on VLSI books
i could support you if only i didn't had such books only in Greek... maybe someone else can...

Very good book in asyncronous design is:
Digital Logic Circuit Analysis & Design by P.Nelson, H.Nagel ,D.Cerroll ,J.Irwin
