I wanna ask about ac equivalent circuit and the feedback series topology.
If i made a calculation based on ac equivalent circuit, is it similar as the formula given by the feedback topology( 4 type of feedback topolgy)?
im confused as i used to do ac equivalent circuit ...and when i studied the feedback topology , it gives different formula according to the feedback type topology.
I am confused, as i think it shoud be the same. Does ac equivalent circuit comply to all circuit or we must refer to what type of topology that we are dealing with...?
Thank u...

Don't quite understand your question.
The 4 different feedback topologies should have different ac equiv. circuits to take into account the feedback effect on ac performance.

I think you must define precisely the input of circuit. it is possible the input of circuit be a voltage source. but if the feedback will be shunt in the input, you must define current as the input. consequently, the feedback solution gives you for example Vout/Iin norVout/Vin. you must then calculate Iin/Vin. Note that the correct calculation of feedback and ac is equallent.ac is correct for any circuit that biased in saturation reagion.

Well as the previous one said you must define the topology (wheter shunt-series on input and/or output)... After you have correctly defined that you may take the ac equivalent as the topology tells you to do.... So the questions is how to define topology:
2 Suggestions:
1) try reading Sedra/ Smith - Microelectronic Circuits... it is far the best book ever
2) try defining some practical rules for telling wheter it is shunt or series (some topologies of the nodes etc....)

| you can refer to Grey/Meyer Analog Integrated Circuits book .it is very good book.

Small signal analysis
and feedback analysis should give the same
result. I agree with the other comment
you should properly define the feddback
virvuit (input and output quantities) and th ecircuit
and properly apply the teory.
