Difference between Vih(ac) & Vih(dc)

Can anyone tell me the difference between these 2 parameters.
This is normally specified for I/O buffers.

I am attaching a memory datasheet which uses these specs

May be they use AC input levels when they check timing diagram to provide larger noise margin.

I think thresholds for a fast signal (ac) and a very slow signal (dc) are different.
