You can find a lot of information for Li-Ion chargers with google. Also take a look at some companies which are developing charger circuits or developing Li-Ion cells.

Charger circuits: Texas Instrument, Maxim, …
Li-Ion cells: Panasonic, Sanyo, …

yes,many examples,such as:

Hi

I have used LP3945 from ns it's fine chip easy to use hard to solder {QFN pakage} work for Ni-MH & li- ion battery

I have used MAX1551, which is working ok.

i need this information very badly. im not getting much info on primary battery
