Post13 Aug 2004 12:20   how to select parameter of a schematic

recently, i'm studing to design a voltage reference. i got a paper from IEEE. ( named CMOS Voltage Reference Based on Weighted VGS for
CMOS Low-Dropout Linear Regulatorsfrom ). the paper have listed several formula to explain how to select the parameters, but i cann't choose a set of satisfactory parameters in keeping with the paper simulating results. the paper used the AMS 0.6um process, i used the tsmc 0.35um process. i don't know whether the diffrent process is the key problem. but in my process, the r1/r2 is about 0.24 by using the paper's formula, and the voltage of r1 adding r2 can't provide enough voltage to make the 2 mos transistor in saturati.

does any one give me a good suggestion about how to select the parameter? thanks a lots. a beginner.

hi

maybe the architecture not suitable because it done in 0.6 um technolgy . try find the circuit which is implementated in 0.35 um technology .
