when our system has both analog analog and digital signals we have to go 4 mixed signal processing.in DSP we convert analog signals into digital ones and then process and again convert back to analog

as its term ,mixed signal processing contain both analog and digital signal processing. interface between them is AD or DA converter. we can convert analog signals to digital signals using AD converter, and then, process them with DSP or FPGA devices, based on DSP theory. the operations often used are FFT, filtering and modulations etc.
