It is depending of your local conditions.
1. Is TV station near you?
2. Is there direct vision to TV station?
3. Is there another station with frequency near it?
4. What are frequencies for all channels that you want to receive?

You give me too little info... Ok, to get perfect picture, you need to maintain your receiving antenna in direct vision to antenna of your TV station. So, you need to climb on the roof of your building and set antenna there. If you are located in big city, you will have a lot of reflections of buildings near you or near to path from you to TV station. As result these reflections will produce repetitions in your TV picture. To avoid them you need to use directional antenna - it will receive only direct signal from TV station and will reduce all these reflections. Best solution will be wide band yagi with 8 dB gain. In my country standard solution is 4 elements yagi to low band (49-55 MHz) and 6 elements yagi to upper band (175-223 MHz). These two antennas are connected together to common feeder by simple diplexer. Very high frequencies antenna as a rule is 12 elements wide band yagi with 10-12 dB gain with own feeder.
You need to look on your market to some directional antennas for your frequencies. Good solution will be logo-periodic antenna - it has good gain in wide band.

HI Taring its a bit late but I just saw ur requestand I couldn't stop myself to reply u coz I professionaly worked on antenna reception for few years & the suggestion iz that the antenna having 3 or more elements with one folded diapole keeping in mind that it should b rectangular in shape and having 3ft length.....
I hope it would solve ur problem..
