Post22 Jul 2004 14:29   question regarding ansoft maxwell 2D repetitive simulations

I would like to get the mutual capacitance between two adjacent conductors for different spacing between the conductors. I would like to do this for 50-60 times.

I would like to know how to automate this with ansoft maxwell 2D

Do I need a macro file? if yes, how to write that?

thanks

I don't know if our software versions are the same. If so, you have to do the following:

1) create "optimetrics" project using the project manager. You can use this program to optimize structures or to run parametric simulations. The variable parameter in your configuration would be the spacing.

2) You will have to add "constraints" to your model. In this case, the spacing. You can do this by using the program's modeler.

3) Before running the simulator you should specify the varying parameter limits.
