It should be something like :
res=3e+8/(2*(f_max-f_min))
Read Merill Skolnik's "Introduction to radar systems" if you can get it.
By the way,what is LADAR?

I work with LADAR.
I'm not sure how to answer your question... I do the contol electronics, but you'll need to define the term resolution.
Theres range resolution: the distance to the target. This, depending upon your source method, will be determined by your electronics.
and then theres angular resolution. The angular resolution is set by a number of factors: detector spacing; beam divergence and FOV; optical FOV; and if you're scanning, step size.
